£40,000 for Valium dad

A DAD who got hooked on Valium after being treated for TOOTHACHE has won a £40,000 payout.
Ray Nimmo is one of the first Brits to win damages for negligent over-prescription.
He spent 14 years hooked on pills after seeing his GP in 1984.
Ray had to quit his job running a Scunthorpe firm as his addiction kicked in.
He said after an out-of-court settlement: "I was a zombie. All I could think about was suicide."
A million and a half Brits are said to be tranquilliser addicts.
