about benzo.org.uk...
You have done a great job, and I am very grateful for all your work. Professor Ashton.
Your site is excellent!! Thanks so much for all your hard work. Joan E. Gadsby.
I visited your website. It's a masterpiece. Good work! This is very important work you are doing. Dr Ray Baker, BC, Canada.
I am very impressed by what you have achieved. It's obvious that you’ve done a huge amount of work – and the result is a really useful and helpful site. Many congratulations: I am full of admiration. Best wishes, Charles Medawar, The Antidepressant Web.
Ray - I am so impressed. Your web site is so good - clear - and so much information. What you do is saving lives and so supporting. Your hands stretch out and link the world. Millie, april.org.uk.
Di and I think your site is brilliant – really well researched and with so many resources. Di Porritt & Di Russell, Authors of The Accidental Addict, Benzo Research Group.
Many thanks for your benzo site, it is of great help and I wish I had found it much earlier on. My wife is in the stages of withdrawal from oxazepam. She is experiencing most of the symptoms described by the various contributors to your site. It is an immense help to know that she is not alone ! Support from our GPs is minimal, as you will expect. John Cunliffe – author of: Postman Pat ; Rosie and Jim ; Incy Wincy Moo Cow
Brilliant site! What a breath of fresh air after all the obfuscation from the drug companies and doctors. I just want to ask – How can I help? This site is the best thing that's happened on the web – ever. It's incredibly reassuring to recognise that my experience is a common experience and that I'm no longer in the wilderness. All strength to your arm! I repeat – let me know how I can help. TS.
Ray, I can't tell you enough how impressed I am with your work. I've struggled with physicians about their prescribing habits in my professional role of clinician and program director for a number of years. The references and links on your site will be a wonderful help in reducing the negative impact of these incredibly dangerous and mis-prescribed drugs on people and society in general. I will be passing out copies of the articles and references on your site to all of our medical and non-medical staff alike. Sincerely, Hilding Ohrstrom, East Boston, MA.
THANK YOU BENZO.ORG.UK !!! Thanks to the advice on the FAQs at benzo.org.uk I have successfully completed my withdrawal and recovery from a two-year addiction to Lexotan on my own !!! BD.
Just want to say thanks for the web site and what an incredible job you have done here. J.
I appreciate your site very much! Keep up the good work; you are on the right path. GEB, Montréal, Canada.
Thank you very much for providing this site. I mistakenly stopped taking my Valium "Cold Turkey" about three months ago after averaging 20-25mg for 6 months. Needless to say that withdrawal was severe and I was lucky that I didn't have a seizure. My symptoms still persist today, but they seem to be slowly subsiding. Hopefully in another month or so I'll be even better. Your information has offered my some insight on what is going on with my body and I feel a little better now that I have that understanding. Thanks again, P.
What an excellent website you have designed – good links and very comprehensive. G.
This website is wonderful and I am certainly glad that y'all went to the effort/trouble to create this as it will surely be informative to many, many others on the internet who are searching for answers. JCE.
This is a cool site man, you did a good job! I'm gonna be hanging out here a lot. C., NY.
Your web page is excellent – very helpful – the best on the web! S.
You continue to improve your website and I tip my hat to you and others for making this a reality. It won't be long before these sites will become a "landmark" for many physicians all over the world. There is nothing close to it anywhere. The possibilities of what might happen because of your website is enormous and really very exciting. Thanks again for all of your excellent work. S., Florida.
Thank you Ray, I really feel blessed to have found this site. Z.
In my books, as they say in the USA, "You da man". I praise you for your efforts to help this group and other benzo sufferers out there but I praise God for him sending you on this mission. R.
Keep up the good work. Where would we all be with out you? M.
I admire you for your fortitude and the hard work you do in trying to ensure that others who are ailing gain an understanding into the reasons why. I log onto your website and can only wonder how you manage to produce the information that you get to help others get through their withdrawals. You are a person of great talent and courage and an inspiration to us all. L.
You have done a marvelous job of putting together websites, articles etc. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude. You have done a service that is beyond words. It's gotta be out of love and concern. SR.
I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world on your web site. I can't tell you what a relief it was to stumble upon your world in the dark nights that ripped me apart. Your site was the second one I found at the beginning of all of this and I sat and cried with joy that I was not losing my mind and that I was not the only one going through this. Thank you for everything. D.
Again, Ray, I can't thank you enough. You have literally saved my life right now. V.
Perfesser Nimmo, I just read your site, and I think that you're the tops, you're the cat's pyjamas! Sine qua non – that means "please Sir, may I grovel?" IM, Québec, Canada.
I love your site and think it is going to be powerful. This is wonderful work. God is going to use you in a powerful way. GCB.
I just went to your site and was extremely impressed!!! Wish it had been up back in March when I joined the Benzo Group. Now nearing the end of 8 months Valium free. I thank supportive people like yourself, for helping me get this far. E.
Looks great! Thanks for all your work at getting the word out there! S.
Congratulations on a selfless job well done. It's encouraging to see others use what they have learned through their trials to reach out to comfort and help others (knowledge is comfort in this benzo ordeal) – isn't that one of the things Scripture says about how we are to react to our trials? I for one appreciate your servant's heart and the peaceful nature with which you've approached the task. C., CA.
Excellent website, another great one I can send others to for help and info. Keep up the good work. M.
You have truly performed a service to humanity! Absolutely marvelous. I am totally impressed with the site and contents. BJ.
I just want you to know that I'm very impressed with your site. You just put a lot of work into this project. I think it is truly wonderful that you want to help people. Thanks again Ray!!! Great job!!! B.
Thank you Ray. Truly God will bless you for how much you have given of yourself and your time. This site is wonderful and have referred it to a friend. P.
Your site is magic by the way and one day I will get round to sending you my story. L.
I am currently working on a longer version of my recovery story and I intend to post it on Ray Nimmo's beautiful new website soon. I love to read your stories too and I encourage all of you to post them there also. CS.
I must tell you, I would have never gotten to this point if were not for you. You may not remember but I found your web page and through that found eGroups and the Ashton Method. If it were not for your tireless efforts and support I don't think I would have had the information or strength to do this and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. M.
I have just discovered your site and am overwhelmed by it all. It really seems like a tough road ahead. I am looking forward to joining the support group discussions. Thank you so much for your web page. MG.
Searching on the web for information on benzodiazepine withdrawal I came across your story and the FAQ document on the benzo.org.uk website. I must say this document is a revelation to me. I have never before seen such a detailed well-written write-up that answers almost exactly all the questions I had in my mind, but to which no doctor ever gave me an honest answer. H.
Hi, I am at your site right now, and er...obviously you know why I am there. But I just wanted to thank you for your FAQ, congratulations, and although I only finished reading it a few minutes ago I think it’s given me some great advice and will be a huge help for me. I commend thee so to speak. Thanks again. BAS.
Let me first congratulate you on the excellent and comprehensive site you have created. I am writing this letter in gratitude. PW.
I want to thank you for your website. RC.
Whoever the author of the FAQ may be I was overwhelmed. It's been a long time since I've cried but I did when I read the response to Question 18. If you are the mystery author of the FAQ – bravo. It is a very important piece of work. Thank you. A.
Thank you for such a wonderful, informative site ... Your site literally saved me from going crazy. I discovered it at the height of my symptoms and the information went a long way in calming me down and easing the terrifying fear I was experiencing. SM.
We out here in cyberspace want to thank you for the numerous hours of labor and love which you have directed our way. Please know that you are loved and appreciated and that you are doing the Lord's work for sure. Love in Christ, J & J E.
I just wanted to thank you for your website. It was your info that sent me in the right direction and I appreciate it so very much. I'm sure I would have been on some other drug by now if I hadn't gotten the information that I so badly needed. You've done a wonderful job. DW.
It was late last October when I found your website. I can only say thank you. The Lord gave me your website to be my lifeline. J.
I'm in shock having just found your site on a Google search!! I'm absolutely delighted and VERY excited...I congratulate you on the website, both its design and content. PK.
Even though I hate that you had to go thru the benzo ordeal, I really don't know where I would be if you hadn't, because then you wouldn't be doing the website. Quite frankly, I had totally lost hope of a normal life before I stumbled on your website in December of last year. Keep up the good work! You are a blessing. C.
I was visiting your site again today and wanted to add my appreciation and praise for an amazing job. Sites like yours are essential to those fighting for their lives during withdrawal. I am sure you are acutely aware of this and that is the very reason this site is up. J.
When I was desperate and in miserable shape I somehow found your site. I don't even remember how. It was the first day I started to really understand what was happening to me. I suppose it was the first day I started to heal. I never thanked you. But today I would like to thank you for all your hard work. You are making a difference in people's lives. Thanks Ray, T.
Kudos on the website and your fantastic attitude of wanting to help people. PG.
{{{{{{ THANKS }}}}}} for all the work you do to get the message out about benzos!! T.
I just wanted to tell you how very helpful I have found your Web Site, dedicated to benzodiazapine withdrawal ... I was so pleased to find your site recently and read of your account. It and other "benzo" sites detail the same horrible withdrawal that I went through, and I wish that they had been available when I was searching for help. You will be helping a great deal of people. M.D., CT
Ray, I just had an opportunity to look at your site. We should all give you a standing applause. Very clear and professional. Thank you for your time and effort. Rik R.
Kudos for all of your wonderful webwork. Best, Stan
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and help with all my annoying questions. I don't know what I would do without people like you. All my best, Jennifer.
I just want to say that your site is a wealth of information for someone like me and I am so very thankful that I have it to refer to. S.
Thank you, Ray Nimmo, for your web site. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just came upon it today, 2 months after I finished tapering off of Klonopin, after 18 months of using about 1 mg a day. A.
Thanks for putting this site together, it is very much needed! CD.
May God bless the work of your hands. G.
I'm celebrating my birthday today and I felt compelled to write you and express my gratitude to you for your web page. Had I not found your web page in early December of last year I know that I would not be celebrating today. I feel so much better today than I did that day or any of the days prior to that for the last two years. I really feel like I owe you a debt of gratitude. Please let me know if there is any way that I can repay you !!! M.G., 8 weeks Ativan free!!
Greetings from Australia and thank you very much for your informative website. Very Best Wishes and thank you again for the good work you are doing to help educate people about the dangers of these drugs. W.S.
Thank you for such a great site! B.J.
Your site is outstanding; truly outstanding. It is very professionally done. Texas ten-gallon hat off to you, friend. You have not wasted your time; as it will surely attract the attention of many suffering from benzos, thus being an integral ray of hope for them. JJ, Texas
Thanks for taking the time to do the web site...its been a godsend for me. Thanks to your site, though, I know there will be light at the end of the tunnel. B.
I want to thank you for this very informative site. I am presently going through withdrawal and having some terrible symptoms. My physicians have told me that I was on such a small dose that I couldn't possibly be going through withdrawal. After finding your site, I believe this is what is happening to me. TM, Edmonton, Canada
My congratulations and thanks for your website, you are a lifesaver. LK.
Congratulations on the site. Hopefully it will save my partner's life and many others. As an addiction counsellor I'm now daily learning more and more. Many clients are going to benefit. Many more if my colleagues at our agency can be convinced. JH, New Zealand
Your site is a blessing – Thank you. I am going to send the address to the doctor who helped me along this road in hopes that he becomes more aware of the dangers that drugs play. Thank you again!! BJ
